But if you prefer the calm and quiet over the hustle and bustle, you'll find many terrific dining destinations throughout the larger Chicagoland area that are just as tasty as the restaurants in Chicago. Whether you want traditional Scottish dishes, locally sourced ingredients or fine French cuisine, your taste buds will be jumping for joy at first bite. Some of these spots have been staples in the community for more than 70 years! Here are some top Chicagoland restaurant choices. Enjoy!

Popular dishes that have been featured on the shows include Whiskey Shrimp and hand-cut filet mignon topped with sautéed wine mushrooms. For Sunday breakfast, enjoy eggs Benedict with king crab, build-your-own-omelet or fresh strawberry pancakes, all under $12.
